MARY- ROSE HAYES
Author Teacher Lecturer

Writers at any level are invited to participate. Numbers are small enough so that we can fine-tune the course depending on individual requirements and experience.
The week will include fiction/nonfiction workshops; one-on-one meetings with instructors, daily scheduled discussion of story telling and narrative structure with back-up writing exercises; 'free writing' projects in class for 'loosening up.'
We also plan a forum relevant to the publishing industry (Publishers, agents, marketing, self publishing) and, for those interested, a discussion of on-line publications, blogs, writing sites etc.
Peralta is a tiny mountain hamlet set among olive groves and vineyards, with a Saracen fort up the hill, Etruscan walls, a swimming pool carved out of the rock, and a view over the Ligurian Sea.
Included in the cost are three delicious meals each day prepared by a local chef, pick up from selected flights in Pisa, and an excursion to the medieval walled city of Lucca.
Peralta is a half hour drive from Lucca, forty-five minutes from Pisa, and one hour from Florence.
For further information visit the website: www.peraltatuscany.com and click on "Courses." Contact: peraltusc@tiscali.it.
Numbers are limited and an early sign up is strongly recommended.
